Her name joins two Filipino words, diwa (spirit) and tala (star). dwta began writing songs in a senior high school workshop and released her debut single "Daluyong" in 2021. She writes in Bikol and Filipino, and her Bikol love song "Padaba Taka" became one of the most-streamed regional tracks in the country.

Before going solo as leanne, Leanne Mamonong spent a decade as one half of Leanne & Naara, the duo she formed in 2012 with Naara Acueza when they were freshmen at Assumption College San Lorenzo. Together they won four Awit Awards. In 2026 she stepped out on her own with "Babaero," a Randy Santiago song reimagined as slow-burning R&B.

Brian Lotho
Brian Lotho is the 2026 Awit Awards Producer of the Year. He co-produced IV of Spades' comeback album Andalucia and has more than 170 producer credits across Filipino pop, rock and folk, alongside work as a songwriter, arranger, guitarist and engineer.
